Can local talent, courage, and mindset-compatibility be found to put together a group of enthusiasts interested in spare-time AGI brainstorming, research, and development?

- live in the Charlottesville area, and
- are interested in AGI (/Strong AI) R&D, and
- have software engineering [related] background
Then
"I want you" to consider getting in touch. I would like to get local AGI thinkers (with technical background) together to see if we can effectively collaborate in any way, targeting the grand goal of AI. Even if we cannot at this time (which is often the case among AGI devs because of incompatible views/approaches/priorities), maybe we will at some point later. Let's at least know about each other.
